Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Scoping Report [Consultation Draft]
As part of the Shannon CFRAM Study SEA, an SEA Scoping Report has been undertaken to identify the environmental characteristics of the Shannon River Basin District. The SEA Scoping Report has been produced to present the initial
understanding of the key environmental issues relating to flood risk and its management. The SEA Scoping Report has been made available for review and comments are invited on the scope and content of this report by the 17/12/2012.
Comments received will be used, where appropriate, to inform the future development of the Study, its Flood Risk Management
Plans and associated SEA.

UoM 25/26 Flood Forecasting Report
The Flood Forecasting Report for Unit of Management (UoM) 25/26 reviews the current systems in place, and examines the facilities required to operate a real-time localised flood forecasting service for the main River Shannon catchment (UoM 25/26).

Shannon Level Operation Review Report
A River Shannon Level Operation Review has been undertaken to research and understand the current operation of control structures (e.g. weirs and sluices) along the River Shannon, who has responsibilities for water levels and how this impacts flood risk management. The River Shannon Level Operation Report has been produced to understand control structures, stakeholder roles and to identify any quick-win measures to reduce flood risk

Inception Reports
These reports outline the information collected to date and outline the methodology for
delivering the Shannon CFRAM study. A separate report is provided for each Unit of
Management and there is a focus on the methodology being adopted for the hydrological
analysis, which is one of the early project tasks.

Flood Risk Review (FRR) Report
The FRR Report sets out the recommendations for AFAs based on the Consultants
site visits, but these recommendations form just one of the "strands" that fed
into the finalisation of the definitive list. Hence, in some areas, recommendations
in the FRR Reports do not necessarily make it into the final list of AFAs reported to
the European Commission and being taken forward in the CFRAM Studies.
